The printing ink is as important for your printer as is the printing paper so it is important that you get a good quality printing ink. Discount printing ink can also be bought in each of the three varieties and each of them has its pros and cons. One of the types is the Refill Ink which is used to refill the empty cartridges. This is the cheapest variety of printing ink but sometimes it is of very poor quality, though a lot of it will depend on the brand and quality of the printer. The other is the Recycled cartridges, in which the empty cartridges are taken, cleaned, and then refilled with cheap ink. The third variety is the Generic brand cartridge which is generally not as much in use as the previous two but because of it being patented by a number of printer companies, the other companies cannot duplicate it. You can use the cheap ink this type of cartridge too. In the case of the generic cartridges, it cannot be recycled and are not manufactured by the companies manufacturing printers but it is manufactured by a third party and the printing ink filled in the cartridge is new.
